Clemenceau Medical Center

Clemenceau Medical Center revolutionized hospital design in Lebanon by prioritizing interior design and creating a comfortable, serene environment for patients.

Revolutionizing Hospital Design

In the early 2000, Clemenceau Medical Center made a revolutionary decision that changed the way hospitals were designed in Lebanon. They decided to prioritize interior design and focus on creating an environment that would make patients feel comfortable and secure, as if they were entering a hotel and not a hospital. After all, interior design can have a profound impact on mental health, and the right design can create a calm and serene environment that promotes relaxation and healing.
To achieve this goal, CMC chose to use a perfect mix of colors and Wood looking Heterogeneous vinyl from Tarkett to create a warm, calm, and relaxing atmosphere. This decision was not only aesthetically pleasing but also practical, as the vinyl flooring doesn't emit sounds while walking, providing a peaceful experience for the patients. Some people couldn't believe it wasn't real wood!
Their design approach quickly caught on, and soon hospitals all over Lebanon were renovating their facilities to make them more patient-friendly.
We are proud to have played a part in their success story. So let's raise a glass (or a sterile medical cup) to CMC, the hospital that turned healthcare into a luxury experience!
